Turkish mill Icdas raises its rebar price to offset currency fluctuations

Today, August 10, Turkish mill Icdas has hiked its domestic rebar price by TRY 200/mt to TRY 3,900/mt ex-works in order to offset the sharp devaluation of the lira. The supplier’s offer price in the US dollar has remained unchanged at $450/mt ex-works.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.

$1 = TRY 7.34
