Today, Monday, May 10, Turkish steel producer Icdas has increased its local rebar price by TRY 240/mt ($30/mt) to TRY 7,120/mt ($730/mt) ex-works over Thursday May 6, due to costlier scrap, currency fluctuations and its mostly full export order books.

The producer has also issued its wire rod price today at TRY 7,610/mt ($780/mt) ex-works, down by TRY 50/mt, while stable on US dollar basis.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
