Today, October 1, Turkish mill Icdas has decreased its domestic rebar price by TRY 90/mt compared to Tuesday, September 29, to TRY 4,180/mt ex-works, to offset currency fluctuations and also given the negative sentiment in the scrap sector. At the same time, the producer’s price on US dollar basis has declined by $3/mt to $459/mt ex-works.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
