Turkish merchant bar exporters keep their offer prices stable

The negative influence of the European Commission’s safeguard investigation on steel imports is still being felt by Turkish merchant bar exporters since Europe is one of their traditional export markets. Meanwhile, demand for Turkish merchant bar in Africa has remained at low levels over the past two weeks, with African buyers still considering the current levels of Turkish merchant bar export prices to be on the high side. On the other hand, SteelOrbis has been informed that demand for Turkish merchant bar in the international markets is not expected to revive until current political and commercial tensions come to an end. Under these circumstances, Turkish merchant bar exporters have kept their offers stable over the past two week.
