It is observed that demand for Turkish merchant bar in the international markets has remained at low levels over the past two weeks. In the given period, Turkish merchant bar producers’ offers to the export markets on FOB basis have declined by $10/mt. SteelOrbis has been informed that foreign buyers still consider Turkish merchant bar export prices to be on the high side and are exerting pressure on prices.
