Domestic wire rod prices in Turkey have moved sideways over the past week amid the relatively stable situation in the import scrap segment and subdued local demand. Special discounts are available for serious buyers. Most Turkish mills are offering for late May-June production. However, small-tonnage orders are also available from stocks. Moreover, most wire rod buyers are waiting for Kardemir to open its wire rod sales tomorrow.
