Turkish suppliers have mainly increased their wire rod prices by $10/mt since Tuesday, October 5, amid costlier import scrap prices and currency fluctuations. Extended delivery periods have also supported these price hikes.

Most suppliers are offering material for late November-December delivery.

One Iskenderun-based mill has opened its mesh grade wire rod sales at $780/mt ex-works for December delivery today, after a long break. Moreover, another mill in the same region has kept its mesh grade wire rod prices at $790/mt ex-works for early December delivery.
