Today, August 10, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have decreased by TRY 200/mt ($8-9/mt) compared to Monday, August 8, amid currency fluctuations and the relatively slow pace of trading activity. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 13,600-14,000/mt or $642-661/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Icdas has kept its official rebar price stable at $670/mt ex-works since the beginning of this week. Most mills are offering rebar at $660-670/mt ex-works in the Marmara and Izmir regions, while special discounts are available for serious buyers only.
