Today, October 12, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have remained unchanged in the local currency but have increased by $5/mt on US dollar basis as a result of exchange rate fluctuations. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar prices in the overall local Turkish spot market have settled at TRY 4,110-4,150/mt ($444-448/mt) ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Today, İçdaş has dropped its rebar price by TRY 40/mt to TRY 4,200/mt ($453/mt) ex-works compared to last Thursday. However, Icdas’ rebar price has risen by $3/mt on US dollar basis today in the afternoon.
Most Turkish mills in Izmir and the Marmara region are currently offering rebar at TRY 4,120-4,170/mt ($445-450/mt) ex-works.
In the Iskenderun region, Bastug A.S. has issued its rebar sale price at TRY 4,150/mt ($448/mt) ex-works, stable on lira basis, while its price has risen by $5/mt on US dollar basis.
In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. has also kept its rebar price in the local currency at TRY 4,160/mt ($449/mt) ex-works, with its dollar price increasing by $5/mt.
In the Samsun region, Yesilyurt A.S. has kept its rebar price stable in the local currency at TRY 4,220/mt ($456/mt) ex-works, with its price on dollar basis, up $6/mt.
