Today, April 9, rebar spot prices in Turkey have remained unchanged in the local currency with just minor changes in prices on US dollar basis. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey are stable at TRY 5,900-5,970/mt or $612-619/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Most mills in the Marmara region are currently offering rebar at $620-635/mt ex-works, stable today.
In the Iskenderun region, Bastug Metallurgy has closed its rebar sales today. Koc Metallurgy has opened its rebar sales at TRY 6,000/mt ($622/mt) ex-works, while another mill in this region has also opened its rebar sales at the same price. Moreover, one re-roller in this region has opened its rebar sales at TRY 5,970/mt ($619/mt) ex-warehouse.
In the Samsun region, Yesilyurt A.S. has opened its rebar sales today at TRY 6,050/mt ($628/mt) ex-works.
