Today, November 10, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have risen by TRY 40-130/mt with minor changes on US dollar basis since the beginning of this week, against the backdrop of currency fluctuations and relatively stable prices in the import scrap price. Local traders in the Iskenderun region have been issuing aggressive prices to generate sales. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 8,490-8,650/mt or $732-746/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Most Marmara and Izmir-based mills are currently offering rebar at $745-750/mt ex-works, including Icdas A.S. Demand is sluggish for now.
