Today, September 20, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have risen by TRY 50-80/mt in the local currency compared to the end of last week, with minor changes on US dollar basis, amid exchange rate fluctuations and following Icdas’ reduction of its price on US dollar basis. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 6,780-6,850/mt or $663-670/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Icdas A.S. has cut its official rebar price by $10/mt to $670/mt ex-works at the current exchange rate today. Sources report that an additional discount is applicable for serious buyers. Another Marmara-based mill is currently offering official rebar at the same price today.
Most Izmir-based mills’ rebar prices are standing at $660-665/mt ex-works today.
In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. has opened its rebar sales at TRY 6,850/mt ($670/mt) ex-works.
