Today, November 2, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have increased by TRY 130-180/mt in the local currency, with minor changes on US dollar basis, as local mills have been aiming to offset exchange rate fluctuations, as compared to Tuesday October 27. Accordingly, 12 mm spot rebar prices have settled within the range of TRY 4,460-4,580/mt ($448-460/mt) ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Today, İçdaş has hiked its rebar price by TRY 40/mt to TRY 4,560/mt ($458/mt) ex-works compared to end of last week. The producer’s rebar price on US dolllar basis has fallen by $2/mt compared to this morning.
Most Turkish mills in Izmir and the Marmara region are currently offering rebar at around TRY 4,580-4,680/mt ($460-470/mt) ex-works.
In the Iskenderun, Bastug A.S. has increased its rebar price by TRY 30/mt to TRY 4,500/mt ($452/mt) ex-works compared to last Friday.
In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. has opened its rebar sales at TRY 4,590/mt ($461/mt) ex-works
In the Samsun region, Yesilyurt A.S. has today also raised its rebar price by TRY 40/mt to TRY 4,580/mt ($460/mt) ex-works.
