Today, November 19, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have risen by another TRY 150-200/mt, with minor changes on US dollar basis amid the currency fluctuations as the exchange rate hit $1 = TRY 11.11 again in the afternoon. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 9,550-9,750/mt or $728-744/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
The general official rebar price range still varies at $745-750/mt ex-works as the week ends. Additional discounts are applicable for serious buyers.The local rebar market is expected to gain more clarity by next week, while some local traders are monitoring the raw material price trend closely before restocking.
