Turkish domestic rebar spot prices mostly rise by TRY 100/mt

Today, November 15, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have mostly risen by TRY 70-100/mt compared to Thursday, November 11, with minor changes on US dollar basis, amid the exchange rate exceeding $1 = TRY 10,00 . Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 8,700-8,820/mt or $736-746/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.

The general rebar price range in the country varies between $745-750/mt ex-works today. Most local traders are having their time for new purchases while monitoring the raw material price trend and Turkish Central Bank’s interest rate decision due on Thursday, November 18.

In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. has opened its rebar sales at TRY 8,850/mt equals to $749/mt ex-works at the current exchange rate today.
