Today, November 5, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have mainly increased by TRY 10/mt ($5/mt) over the past two days, only remaining unchanged in the Marmara region. Accordingly, 12 mm spot rebar prices have settled within the range of TRY 4,530-4,630/mt ($455-465/mt) ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Today, İçdaş has kept its rebar price at TRY 4,590/mt ($463/mt) ex-works.
Most Turkish mills in Izmir and the Marmara region are currently offering rebar at around TRY 4,530-4,680/mt ($455-470/mt) ex-works, down by an average of TRY 40/mt in the local currency, while stable on US dollar basis.
Most buyers are refraining from new purchases due to the unclear economic situation, despite the positive sentiment in the import scrap market.
