Today, September 24, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have increased by TRY 50-110/mt over the day, with minor changes on US dollar basis amid exchange rate fluctuations. The exchange rate even hit $1 = TRY 8.86 today. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 6,900-6,980/mt or $660-668/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
The general official rebar price in the Izmir and Marmara regions is available $670/mt ex-works today. Most Turkish suppliers are expected to revise their official rebar offers by the beginning of next week.
