Today, November 3, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have increased by TRY 50-70 /mt in the local currency, with minor changes on US dollar basis, as local mills have been aiming to offset exchange rate fluctuations. Accordingly, 12 mm spot rebar prices have settled within the range of TRY 4,520-4,630/mt ($450-461/mt) ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Today, İçdaş has hiked its rebar price by TRY 30/mt to TRY 4,590/mt ($457/mt) ex-works. The producer’s rebar price on US dollar basis has fallen by $3/mt.
Most Turkish mills in Izmir and the Marmara region are currently offering rebar at around TRY 4,570-4,720/mt ($455-470/mt) ex-works, down by an average of TRY 15/mt in the local currency, while falling by $5/mt on the lower end on US dollar basis.
In the Iskenderun, Bastug A.S. has hiked its rebar price by TRY 90/mt ($5/mt) to TRY 4,590/mt ($457/mt) ex-works.
In the Samsun region, Yesilyurt A.S. has today also increased its rebar price by another TRY 40/mt to TRY 4,620/mt ($460/mt) ex-works, with its dollar price remaining stable.
