Today, April 8, rebar spot prices in Turkey have risen by TRY 20-40/mt ($4-7/mt) amid currency fluctuations and costlier scrap. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey are now at TRY 5,900-5,970/mt or $613-621/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Icdas has kept its rebar price at $620/mt ex-works at the current exchange rate. Moreover, most mills in the Marmara region are currently offering rebar list prices at $635/mt ex-works, up by $5/mt on US dollar basis today.
Most Izmir-based mills are currently offering rebar at $625-630/mt ex-works.
In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. has opened its rebar sales today at TRY 5,970/mt ($621/mt) ex-works.
