Today, September 29, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have risen by TRY 20-60/mt compared to the beginning of this week, with minor changes on US dollar basis amid exchange rate fluctuations and higher local scrap prices. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 6,970-7,000/mt or $667-670/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Most Marmara-based mills are currently offering rebar at $670/mt ex-works today, including Icdas A.S. Sources report additional discounts are applicable for serious buyers.
In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. has opened its rebar price at TRY 7,000/mt ($670/mt) ex-works today.
