Today, April 9, domestic rebar spot prices in Turkey have increased by TRY10-30/mt ($2-5/mt) to TRY 3,230-3,280 /mt ($405-411/mt) ex-warehouse. Some producers in the Marmara region have been offering at TRY 3,270/mt ex-works, cutting their price by TRY 10/mt on Turkish lira basis, while keeping their US dollar price stable at $410/mt ex-works.
In the Iskenderun region, Koc Metalurji has kept its rebar price stable at TRY 3,300/mt ex-works today, with its prices on dollar basis rising by $2/mt to $414/mt ex-works amid currency fluctuations. Sources report that trading activity is currently not very active.
