Today, November 25, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have decreased by TRY 250-400/mt with minor changes on US dollar basis, against the backdrop of currency fluctuations. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 10,400-10,600/mt or $731-745/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Most mills in Marmara and Izmir region are currently offering rebar at $745-750/mt ex-works, including Icdas A.S. today. The local traders in Karabuk region have cut their prices on lira basis lower than prices in the other regions to bring their price in line with the most common 12 mm rebar spot price, TRY 10,600/mt ex-warehouse.
In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. has opened its rebar sales at TRY 10,600/mt ($745/mt) ex-works today, down by TRY 400/mt ($3/mt) over the day.
