Today, November 4, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have increased by TRY 30-150/mt, while falling by $1-12/mt, compared to Tuesday, November 2, amid currency fluctuations, while local traders in the Iskenderun region in particular are applying aggressive pricing to generate sales. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 8,350-8,500/mt or $728-741/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Most mills in the Izmir and Marmara region are still offering rebar at $740-750/mt ex-works today, including Icdas A.S. Most local buyers are monitoring the raw material price trend before restocking. Additional discounts are applicable for serious buyers.
