Today, on June 16, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have decreased by TRY 20-50/mt ($2-5/mt) amid sluggish demand and silence in the import scrap sector. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey are now at TRY 7,200-7,300/mt or $714-724/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Most mills in the Marmara and Izmir regions are currently offering rebar at $730-740/mt ex-works.
In the Iskenderun region, Bastug Metallurgy has closed its rebar prices, which were opened at TRY 7,300/mt on Thursday, June 10, equal to $724/mt ex-works at the current exchange rate.
In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. has opened its rebar price at TRY 7,300/mt ($724/mt) ex-works today.
