Today, April 13, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have fallen by TRY 150-300/mt ($5-14/mt), against the backdrop of currency fluctuations and the negative sentiment in the import scrap segment. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 15,450-15,700/mt or $896-911/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Most mills in the Izmir and Marmara regions have kept their rebar prices at $960-965/mt ex-works, including Icdas A.S., while their rebar prices on lira basis have dropped sharply to offset currency fluctuations.
