Today, January 29, spot prices in the Turkish domestic rebar market have decreased by TRY 40-120/mt, with minor changes on US dollar basis, to offset currency fluctuations. However, local demand is still sluggish in line with the negative sentiment in the local rebar market. As of today, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey are at TRY 5,100-5,150/mt or $593-599/mt ex-warehouse depending on the region.
Icdas A.S. has kept its rebar list price at TRY 5,390/mt ($627/mt) ex-works, as today.
Most mills in the Marmara and Izmir regions are currently offering rebar list price at TRY 5,245-5,290/mt ($610-615/mt) ex-works. Sources report that special discounts are available for serious buyers.
