Today, April 2, rebar spot prices in Turkey have decreased by TRY 70-110/mt ($5-9/mt), amid currency fluctuations and the negative sentiment on the demand side. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey are now at TRY 5,750-5,850/mt or $600-611/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Most mills in the Marmara and Izmir regions are currently offering rebar at $620-630/mt ex-works at the current exchange rate.
In the Samsun region, Yesilyurt A.S. has opened its rebar sales at TRY 5,970/mt ($623/mt) ex-works at the current exchange rate.
