Turkish mills have raised their domestic rebar prices slightly as compared to yesterday, June 13, amid higher production costs resulting from the depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar and also due to certain purchases for restocking purposes carried out by some Turkish traders.
Additionally, today, Turkish mill Izmir Demir Celik has increased its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 17/mt to TRY 2,797/mt ($475/mt) ex-works, while Icdas has raised its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 45/mt to TRY 2,815/mt ($478/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.
