Turkish domestic rebar prices continue to decline after holiday

Prices in the local Turkish rebar market have continued their downtrend due to the weakness of demand after the end-of-Ramadan holiday and due to the ongoing fall in import scrap quotations.

Additionally, today, Turkish mill Izmir Demir Celik has announced its 12-32 mm rebar prices at TRY 2,754/mt ($475/mt) ex-works, while Icdas has reduced its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 85/mt to TRY 2,780/mt ($479/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.

As of today, June 10, rebar offers in the Turkish spot market are as follows:
