Local Turkish merchant bar prices have mainly decreased by TRY 125-175/mt ($19-25/mt) over the past two weeks. Turkish merchant bar producers have cut their prices amid weaker import scrap and billet prices, against the backdrop of currency fluctuations.
The suppliers are quoting fresh production either for October delivery or limited tonnages available for September delivery. In addition, limited tonnage is also available from stocks.
