Today, July 6, Turkish integrated mill Kardemir has closed its rebar sales, which were opened on June 24 at TRY 6,140/mt ex-works, which equals $708/mt ex-works at the current exchange rate.

After Icdas A.S. increased its rebar price by $10/mt to $730/mt ex-works yesterday, Kardemir offers became more attractive for local traders, especially taking into account the advantageous payment terms traditionally provided by the mill. As a result, the producer has succeeded in selling around 36,000 mt of rebar at the abovementioned price.
