Having opened its domestic profile sales earlier today, March 10, after a long break, Turkish mill Kardemir has closed its sales after receiving demand for approximately 76,000 mt of merchant bar at the list prices below. The producer had opened its previous merchant bar sales on December 1. The producer has added a size (highlighted in yellow) for IPE-NPI-NPU. Morever, a three percent discount for tonnages above 10,000 mt has been cancelled and the extras for all sizes have increased by TRY 40-90/mt compared to the previous list. Kardemir has not opened its billet, rebar and wire rod sales today.
