Today, February 28, Turkish mill Kardemir has increased prices in its sales of engineering grade wire rod products, against the backdrop of rapid currency fluctuations and the relatively positive sentiment in the billet sector. The supplier has raised its dollar-based prices by $25-35/mt compared to its previous announcement on Tuesday, February 15. The producer has issued its list price only on US dollar basis, and for cash payment, on ex-works basis.
