Turkey’s Kardemir closes its rebar prices

Earlier, today, October 5, Turkey’s Kardemir issued its new rebar price list earlier and hiked its rebar prices by TRY 415/mt ($10/mt) to TRY 12,990/mt ($700/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, compared to its previous price list issued on Friday, September 9. The mill closed its rebar sales after a couple of hours. According to sources, the producer succeeded in selling around 21,500 mt by the time of publication. Most Marmara-based mills are offering rebar at $715/mt ex-works today.
