Turkey’s Icdas revises its longs prices to offset currency fluctuations

Today, August 15, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has cut its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 10/mt to TRY 14,200/mt (670/mt) ex-works compared to Monday, August 8, in order to offset currency fluctuations. The supplier has also decreased its wire rod price by TRY 10/mt to TRY 14,835/mt ($700/mt) ex-works. On US dollar basis, both long product prices have remained stable over the same period. Currently, most mills in the Marmara and Izmir regions are offering rebar at $660-680/mt ex-works.
