Turkey’s Icdas raises its rebar price by $10/mt

Today, October 25, Turkish mill Icdas has increased its official rebar price by $10/mt (TRY 430/mt) to TRY 8,640/mt ($750/mt) ex-works, as compared to Wednesday, October 20, mainly due to significant currency fluctuations and the positive sentiment in the local scrap market.

The supplier has also issued its official wire rod price at TRY 9,790/mt ($850/mt) ex-works today, up by TRY 360/mt and stable on US dollar basis over the same period.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.

$1 = TRY 9.76
