Turkey’s Icdas raises its longs prices in lira basis once again

Today, November 17, Turkish mill Icdas has increased its rebar price by TRY 260/mt to TRY 9,250/mt ($750/mt) ex-works over the day amid rapid currency fluctuations. The exchange rate was $1 = TRY 10.16 yesterday.

The supplier has also issued its official wire rod price at TRY 10,480/mt ($850/mt) ex-works today, up by TRY 290/mt over the same period. The producer has kept its dollar-based prices unchanged.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.

$1 = TRY 10.45
