Today, March 4, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has increased its official rebar price by TRY 380/mt to TRY 14,750/mt ($880/mt) ex-works against the backdrop of the costlier scrap and billet prices contributed by the currency fluctuations. The supplier has also raised its wire rod price by TRY 380/mt to TRY 15,920/mt ($950/mt) ex-works. Both prices indicate a $20/mt increase on US dollar basis.
