Turkey’s Icdas keeps its dollar-based longs prices stable

Today, Friday,August 20, Turkish steel  producer Icdas has increased its rebar price by 80/mt to TRY 6,800/mt ex-works compared to Wednesday, August 18, to offset currency fluctuations.

The producer has also issued its official wire rod price today at TRY 8,215/mt ex-works, up by TRY 100/mt over the same period. The producer has kept its rebar and wire rod prices stable at $675/mt and $815/mt ex-works respectively since the middle of this week. According to sources, special discounts are available for serious buyers.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
