Turkey’s Icdas keeps its dollar-based longs prices

Today, June 23, Turkish steel producer Icdas has fallen its local rebar price by TRY 50/mt to TRY 7,420/mt ex-works to offset currency fluctuations over the end of last week. The producer has also issued its wire rod price today at TRY 8,430/mt ex-works, down by TRY 60/mt over the same period. The producer’s rebar and wire rod prices have remained unchanged on US dollar basis at $730/mt and $830/mt ex-works, respectively, since Monday, June 14.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
