Today, June 10, Turkish steel producer Icdas has raised its local rebar price by another TRY 90/mt ($10/mt) to TRY 7,300/mt ($720/mt) ex-works amid costlier local scrap prices and the relatively positive sentiment in the import scrap segment.

The producer has also issued its wire rod price today at TRY 8,310/mt ex-works, down by TRY 20/mt on the same day to offset the currency fluctuations. Its offer on US dollar basis is stable at $820/mt ex-works.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.

$1 = TRY 8.59
