Today, March 8, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has increased its official rebar price by TRY 510/mt to TRY 15,740/mt ($920/mt) ex-works against the backdrop of the depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar and the positive sentiment in the import scrap and billet segments. The supplier has also increased its wire rod price by TRY 525/mt to TRY 16,940/mt ($990/mt) ex-works. Both prices indicate a $20/mt increase on US dollar basis.
