Turkey’s Icdas hikes its longs prices on lira basis sharply

Today, February 24, Icdas A.S. has increased its official rebar price by TRY 505/mt to TRY 12,555/mt ($740/mt) ex-works amid the depreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar. The exchange rate was at $1 = TRY 13.80 yesterday. The supplier has also increased its wire rod price by TRY 565/mt to TRY 13,915/mt ($820/mt) ex-works. The producer has kept its dollar-based longs prices unchanged.
