Turkey’s Icdas decreases its longs prices sharply

Today, September 12, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has cut its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 405/mt to TRY 14,850/mt (690/mt) ex-works, compared to Thursday, September 1, amid the negative sentiment in the import scrap segment and currency fluctuations. The supplier has also decreased its wire rod price by TRY 405/mt to TRY 15,710/mt ($730/mt) ex-works. The dollar-based prices have dropped by $20/mt for both products over the same period.
