Turkey’s Icdas cuts local rebar price amid weaker scrap, slower demand

Today, June 29, Turkish mill Icdas has decreased its domestic rebar price by TRY 50/mt compared to Monday, June 15  to TRY 3,420/mt ex-works, down by $7/mt on US dollar basis to $423/mt ex-works, due to weaker scrap prices and slower demand for rebar.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.

$1 = TRY 6.85
