Turkey’s Icdas cuts its longs prices significantly

Today, June 27, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has decreased its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 1,085/mt to TRY 12,440/mt ($630/mt) ex-works, compared to Wednesday, June 22, against the backdrop of sluggish demand and weaker import scrap and billet prices. The supplier has cut its wire rod price by TRY 1,520/mt to TRY 13,030/mt ($660/mt) ex-works. On US dollar basis, the mill has decreased its rebar and wire rod prices by $30/mt and $50/mt, respectively.
