Tight availability in local Turkish rebar market

Tight availability is observed in the local Turkish rebar market, while domestic rebar prices have made an upward start to the current week following the sharp price rises recorded last week due to the trend of the Turkish lira-US dollar exchange rate. Buyers in the local Turkish rebar market had not restocked for a long time amid the uncertainties in the market. However, due to the approaching winter, they are currently willing to accelerate their rebar purchases and are increasing their price inquiries. Accordingly, domestic rebar quotations have received support for their upward movement despite the declines seen in import scrap prices in Turkey.
