According to market sources, Taiwanese steel mills have given offers to South Korea for KS certified rebars at $595-605/mt CFR, $45-50/mt higher than the offer prices recorded in November. For now, the total tonnage of orders received from South Korea has reached 8,000-10,000 mt, while it is expected to increase to 15,000-20,000 mt for late January-early February shipments.

Additionally, market sources state that Taiwanese producer Wei Chih Steel Industrial has received an order from Australia for 4,000 mt of AS certified rebars at $610-613/mt FOB, for January shipment.
