Softening in ex-CIS wire rod offers considered insufficient by buyers

Thursday, 30 May 2013 17:04:40 (GMT+3)   |   Istanbul

Ex-CIS mesh quality wire rod offers for July shipment are now standing at $575-585/mt FOB Black Sea, softening by $5/mt since last week, though buyers think that the decline seen in offers is insufficient. Meanwhile, the mills have been trying to maintain their prices.

Weekly price movements of different steel products in major markets can be viewed comparatively in the SteelOrbis Historical Steel Prices section. Market trends can thus be seen more clearly, while desired charts can be created and used in reports or presentations.
