Saudi Arabia-based SABIC reduces its domestic rebar prices

Saudi Arabia-based Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) has reduced its prices for July output by SAR 126/mt ($33.5/mt) as compared to June output to SAR 2,048-2,250/mt ($546-600/mt) CPT, on actual weight basis. The weakness of demand in the local Saudi Arabian rebar market is observed to the reason for this fall recorded in SABIC’s prices. SABIC’s offers for June output were at SAR 2,149-2,400/mt ($573-640/mt) CPT on actual weight basis.
